Rolando T. Corpus, MD, FACS, FRCS(C)
Dr. Rolando T. Corpus is the Director of the Centre for Vein Care and Laser Treatments. He is a specialist in the field of Phlebology (the science of veins and their disorders) with over 30 years of experience.
As a General and Vascular Surgeon, he successfully treats varicose and spider veins with a combination of non-invasive techniques such as Sclerotherapy, EndoVenous Laser Treatment, and minimally invasive surgical procedures such as mini-incisional phlebectomy.
He is presently a consultant in the Department of Surgery of the North York General Hospital in Toronto and has been certified by the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada as well as the American Board of Surgery. He holds Fellowships with both the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of American College of Phlebology and the Canadian Society of Phlebology.
Over the last 7 years, Dr. Corpus has conducted phlebology seminars and EVLT workshops in Asia, namely - Singapore; Taipei, Taiwan; Manila, Philippines, and Bangkok, Thailand. He has also tutored a number of physicians from the United States and Canada, on phlebological procedures and EVLT.
Todd Roland Corpus, MD, CCFP
Dr. Todd Roland Corpus, son of Dr. Rolando T. Corpus, is a Board Certified Phlebologist who has been practicing Phlebology exclusively for over five years. A graduate of Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Southern California, his training in primary care began at The Columbia University Family Medicine program in Stamford, Connecticut. He completed his residency training at The University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada, where he earned board certification by The College of Family Physicians of Canada.
His phlebology training began at the Centre for Vein Care in 2003-2004 under his father, Dr. Rolando T. Corpus. Since then, he has continued to enhance his expertise through regular continuing medical education in the United States, Canada, and Europe. His professional memberships include the American College of Phlebology, the Canadian Society of Phlebology, and The College of Family Physicians of Canada.
In 2010, he earned board certification in the specialty of phlebology from the American Board of Phlebology, which includes an exclusive 475 Diplomates worldwide. Less that 1% of all phlebology professionals have earned certification from the ABPh.
Dr. Corpus is currently participating in the Canadian Society of Phlebology Fellowship Training program, which is to be completed in 2011. Successful completion of this three-year program certifies competence in Phlebology according to the standards of the CSP.
In July 2011, the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine awarded Dr. Todd Roland Corpus a Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine. Also on October 23, 2011, Dr. Todd Roland Corpus was awarded Fellowship in the Canadian Society of Phlebology! This first class consists of 40 physicians who have completed the curriculum established by the International Union of Phlebology.
At the Centre for Vein Care, Dr. Corpus’ patient-centered approach enables him to provide vein care of the highest quality. By introducing revolutionary techniques and keeping up with the latest advances, he will continue to serve the Greater Toronto Area for years to come.
