Fellows in Phlebology: On October 23, 2011, Dr. Todd Roland Corpus and Dr. Liliana Katz were awarded Fellowship in the Canadian Society of Phlebology! This first class consists of 40 physicians who have completed the curriculum established by the International Union of Phlebology. The Canadian Society of Phlebology provides Canadian phlebologists with the latest knowledge and advancements in the field. Our dedicated physicians are committed to serving you with vein care of the highest standards!
Aesthetic Medicine: In July 2011, the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine awarded Dr. Todd Roland Corpus a Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. TODD ROLAND CORPUS Earns Certification by the American Board of Phlebology
Toronto, Ontario, Canada – The American Board of Phlebology has announced that Dr. Todd Roland Corpus has earned board certification in the specialty of phlebology from the American Board of Phlebology. Dr. Corpus was first board certified by the ABPh in June of 2010. This is the third class of Diplomates for ABPh, which now includes an exclusive group of 475 Diplomates worldwide.
It’s with great pride that we announce this accomplishment by Dr. Corpus. His certification with the American Board of Phlebology is a direct refletion of his skill, knowledge, and experience in providing quality patient care, and his continued commitment to the advancement of vein care. To become board certified is truly an accomplishment. Less than 1% of all phlebology professionals have earned certification from the ABPh.
To become an ABPh diplomate, an applicant must complete the requisite training or experience qualifications, meet the continuing medical education requisites, and pass a stringent certification examination. Certification periods are ten years and maintenance is dependent on the ability of the diplomate to display ompetency in four areas of assessment: evidence of professional standing, evidence of commitment ot lifelong-learning and periodic self-assessment, evidence of cognitive expertise, evaluation of performance in practice.
At the Centre for Vein Care, Dr. Corpus’ patient-centered approach enables him to provide vein care of the highest quality. By introducing revolutionary techniques and keeping up with the latest advances, he will continue to serve the Greater Toronto Area for years to come.

With the many advances in both technology and treatment methodologies, we at the Centre for Vein Care make it a point to update ourselves with everything that's happening in the varicose vein industry.
My son and partner in practice, Dr. Todd Roland Corpus, attended the International Union of Phlebology Congress held in Monaco last summer and returned with new advances readily applicable in our practice. In November 2009 I attended the 23rd Annual Congress of the American College of Phlebology in Palm Desert, California where the revolutionary Veinwave Treatment for spider veins was first demonstrated.
We readily employ the latest treatment modalities and technologies as soon as they have been developed and proven to be effective in clinical practice.
